What are flavonoids? Learn how they boost our health

Earlier today, I reached for my seed packets, ready to dive into some gardening. I know I’m a bit late, but it's better to be cautious with frost lingering until June around here. As I planned out my garden space and browsed through the seeds, I couldn’t help but admire the stunning variety of colors. This got me thinking about how summer gardens are motivators for adding more color to our plates and why this color matters. 


I’m always amazed by the incredible benefits that food can offer. Recently, I’ve been exploring flavonoids. I thought it would be enjoyable to share some insights into what I've been revisiting and discovering about flavonoids, just in case you're also curious. Additionally, I'm excited to share my go-to resource for exploring the vibrant colors in our food and their numerous benefits.


What are flavonoids? 

Flavonoids are fascinating natural compounds found in a variety of plants, celebrated for their vibrant colors and remarkable health benefits.
